Good Things Come To Those That Wait.
Thousands of miles traveled. Many many injections. Multiple bottles of different medication and vitamins and hormones. Lots appointments and checkups and bloodwork. Peeing on sticks over and over and over. Dealing with the disappointment of only 1 line instead of 2. 3 failed transfers. Sadness, hearbreak, feeling like I failed. We persisted, though. We weren’t so ready to give up. I was ready to try again after the 3rd transfer failed. I’m so glad we did. I am so very glad we did. A few days after the transfer, I just wasn’t feeling myself. I decided to take a test. I went and bought more and used one right away. A very faint pink line showed up almost immediately. I didn’t want to get my hopes up but they were up. False positives rarely happen. So I was optimistic. I did bloodwork 5 days after the transfer. My levels confirmed I was pregnant.
